Middle School Basketball is right around the corner! Middle school basketball is for any girls or boys interested in 6th/7th/8th grades. The first day of practice will be Tuesday, November 1st. Practices will be from 3:30pm until 5:30pm. Athletes should have t-shirt/shorts/basketball shoes/water bottle for practices each day.

Parent/Teacher Conference are being held today from 12:00-6:00pm.

Tomorrow night we host St. Vincent in middle school football. Gametime is 6:00pm. He will recognize our 8th grade players and families prior to the game. We ask that anyone participating in 8th grade player recognition gather on the East end of the track at 5:15pm.

Update your calendars! Due to the Middle School Conference Volleyball tournament on Oct 17th and 18th.............the Middle School Band and Middle School Choir Concert will be held on October 27th @ Grandview R2 High School @ 6:30pm.

Pink Out Shirt Order form The Pink Out Game is October 21st, at our high school football game vs. Chaffee. Our high school cheerleading team is selling Pink Out shirts for $20 to wear to the game. All of the proceeds go to Cheryl Tribout. Accepted forms of payment: - Check (made out to Grandview R-II) - Cash Please place payment in an envelope and label "Mrs. Pekarek, Pink Out Shirt Money" before turning into the office. Orders are due Friday, October 14th. Orders/money turned in late will result in no t-shirt being ordered. Grandview FCCLA will be conducting a canned food drive at this Friday's varsity football game. Bring in canned food items to the game and receive a $1 discount for each item donated.

Grandview R2 Middle School Picture Day Is: Thursday, October 20, 2022

The halloween dance will be held right after school on Friday, October 28th from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Our middle school STUCO will be running a Haunted Hallway......for any who dare to enter (insert evil laugh here). We will also have a costume contest! 5th graders bring water & gatorade bottles. 6th graders bring candy. 7th graders bring chips. 8th graders bring soda. All items will be collected at the door and shared between all students through our concessions area. The cost for the dance is $5.00 per student.

The middle school volleyball game that was scheduled tonight (Tuesday, Oct 4th) is CANCELED. There will be NO volleyball game tonight. Jefferson R7 had a scheduling conflict, and we will not make up the game.
