School board members are public servants elected by local constituents and do not receive compensation for their tireless efforts. As citizens who serve students and represent their communities, school board members face complex and demanding challenges. March is School Board Recognition Month. If you listen closely you might be able to hear Peter Cottontail hopping down the Eagle Trail on Saturday, March 16. Egg hunt starts at 10:00 am on the football field with pictures with the grand lagomorph himself at 9:30. Free for Eagles PK-4th grade. Donations are appreciated.

In order to ensure safety of parents, students, and staff the Grandview R-II School District will have AMI Day 4 tomorrow, Friday, February 16.

Due to mechanical issues students who ride bus #5 will be dropped off by a different vehicle and possibly a different time.

Saucy's in Hillsboro will be donating 10% of all sales, dine-in, carry-out, or delivery, on January 30, to a Grandview family who experienced a house fire over the holiday season. A huge thank you to Saucy's for consistently supporting their community, including Eagle Nation.

Good news Eagle Nation! Grandview will have on campus classes Tuesday, January 23.

All middle school and high school games scheduled for tonight have been postponed. The high school girls' game against St. Paul has not been finalized. The middle school tournament will start tomorrow, Tuesday. Below is a link to the new brackets/schedules. https://5il.co/2cyy7

Due to inclimate weather Grandview will have AMI Day 3 today, January 19, for on-campus students.

Grandview will be in session tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17. Richwoods and Londell have determined not to have school, so there will be no busses to Grandview from either. Remember to dress in warm layers and limit exposure to the cold air as much as possible. See you tomorrow.

Due to extreme weather the Grandview R-II School DIstrict will have AMI Day 2 tomorrow Tuesday, January 16. This does not affect the online MOVA students.

Under an abundance of caution concerning the timing of the forecasted winter weather, Grandview will have an AMI day tomorrow, January 12, 2024. Packets of assignments have been sent home with students. AMI Day 1 assignments will be collected for a grade when students return. If students do not turn in the assigned material they are required to be counted as absent with no grade.
