Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the spring season, our students are preparing to demonstrate all the incredible growth they’ve made this year. We are writing to share important information regarding our upcoming state assessments, the Grade Level Assessments (MAP) and End of Course Assessments (EOC).
These assessments are one of many ways we measure student progress and ensure our curriculum is meeting their needs. Below are the key details and tips to help your child feel confident and prepared.
Testing Schedule
Please mark these dates on your calendar to ensure your child is present and on time:
Elementary MAP Testing: April 29-May 15
Middle School MAP Testing: April 22-May 8
High School EOC: April 16-May 12
How You Can Support Your Child
While these tests are important, we want our students to approach them with a positive, stress-free mindset. You can help by:
Ensuring a Good Night’s Rest: Aim for a consistent, early bedtime the week of testing to ensure they are well-rested.
Providing a Nutritious Breakfast: A healthy, low-sugar breakfast helps with focus and sustained energy throughout the morning.
Encouraging Attendance: It is best for students to test in their normal classroom environment with their peers. Please avoid scheduling appointments or vacations during testing windows.
Maintaining Perspective: Remind your child that this is just a "snapshot" of their learning and an opportunity to show what they know. Their value is not defined by a single score.
Thank you for the continued partnership in the students' education. If there are any questions about the testing process, please do not hesitate to reach out to our District Testing Coordinator, Kelly Clark.
Best regards,
Kelly Clark, Middle School Counselor

Beautiful weekend days in Eagle Nation call for getting outside and enjoying our campus!
This weekend was the perfect time to try out the new pickleball courts, and they’re already getting plenty of use. Whether you're playing a competitive match or just learning the game, it's great to see our community taking advantage of these new courts.
Grab a paddle, bring a friend, and come enjoy a game!
