It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Mr. Karl Schlett, a beloved former teacher of the Grandview R-II School District. Mr. Schlett dedicated many years to educating and inspiring students, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passion for teaching and his genuine care for his students made him a treasured member of the Grandview family.

The Elementary hosted their second Family Group sessions this morning. It is truly uplifting to see the smiles, laughs and pure joy when students reunite with an old teacher, connect with a new one, and become a leader in their groups by helping the younger students. Today, we all listened to the book, School is a Family. Then we started to build a puzzle, quilt or pizza out of paper to represent each piece of the Family Group.
